Description

Just a test of the Predatron Lores figures as crowd elements for the city of Dystopia. Three groups of about 15 guys placed on the roof by the Stinger, down a level on the curving balcony and three more groups down on the street level. Street level people might as well be custom particles as they are so immensely tiny. Are they wearing futuristic clothes at this point who can tell?

Vue has an Eco-Painting feature where adding large amounts of people can be done effortlessly. I'm sure LW allows particle substitutions with mesh items. Perhaps alpha planes with people shader images, all pointing at the camera. That method saves gobs of memory. Anyway, this is a very good set of renderings!

Thelby, I think you mean "enormousness". "Enormity" is the degree of evil and wickedness of a deed, i.e. the Holocaust or the Khmer Rouge killing fields. Looks good, Deci6el! SJ

Cool city scape! Predatrons wonderful people really add to the vastness of the marvellous Dystopia and that's the beauty of futuristic renders as well, the car can be super slimline, no wheels etc. The lighting/atmo is spot on and is very convincing. Top job

Funny, but even with all those people Dystopia still looks like 7am sunday morning here... Just looking at your images, I'm tempted to try to 'garbage up' the place to add some realism, it definalty needs signs, ads and graffiti. I'm curious as to what you used for the distant vehicles, I wonder if it's worth it to make some low poly ground traffic similar to Stonemasons sky-traffic? Definatly inspirational, excellent work, and insta-fave!

great framing, I like the middle shot best-- the saturated color of the craft against the gray background -- really nice. The bottom shot has the feeling of some kind of archtect's promotional rendering, but suffers from too little geometry & texture detail in the foreground buildings -- they're too obviously just a few polys-- those "knife edge" edges always lurch me out of "believing" and back to saying "oh, right, CGI"
