My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

I think I am going to dissagree with the majority of people here Tara, The capture is excellent under the circumstances, it would have been even better if all that reflected city light had not been there(IMHO). I have to travel miles to see a clear night sky with very little city light reflection. One of the sky gazers biggest moans is to do with reflected light. Only recently have councils (in England) started fitting down lighters to their street lighting, to try and combat the reflection, they have also started(in the last ten years) to fit white light on new schemes. Right rant over. So I for one, do not like your reflected light but that is personal taste, I do however love your moon and foreground. I shall disregard the orange tinge and mark it for moon and foreground. Bravo!!!!!

Once again you fool me with the title, young lady. You'll probably challenge me on this, but technically it is reflected light, but this time it's the light reflected either directly from the sun or sunlight off the face of the earth. Love the soft, increasing lightening effect of the fog/mist as it ascends toward the sky. But, excuse me, what Cascade Mountains? I don't see no mountains!!!
