Stunning image. This slim delicate stem carries the weight of the leaves and petals as do people with their travails in life. While the stem appears to be frail and fragile, it nevertheless is both strong and resilient. The larger petals, as paper thin, are beautiful to see but light and almost weightless. This reminds me that often objects and events are not as they at first glance appear to be. The yellow summons us forth yet reminds one to proceed with caution. A very inspired – and inspiring depiction. Thank you for sharing.

I love the water color feel of this one. This one glows and makes me feel autumn again. Outside in my yard is a small tree that holds all it's leaves, still green, but dried and dead. All the winds we've had have not loosened it's hold on it's leaves. It is a determined tree, and I think it is stubborn, as we are when we are determined to have our way, to hold on to our beliefes and our truths.
