Description
There is a sugar mill close by and I took some shots of it the closest I could get. May go and ask them if I can take phots of the place as it is working. Took this last month; I think. All i know I took a local trip to see what I can shoot. Gone about 6 hours that day lol

that bridge in front is not working. It was the old way into the mill. I would have to go around to get in if I go.

I live in a town that had the C&H sugar plant and every so many day it stunk really bad. I mean really bad. Don't know what they were doing or if it was cane or beet sugar they were working on when the smell came around but you would not like it.

Nice photo Jocko! The buildings have history, the structures look interesting, the exhaust looks clean and cloud like (one wonders if it smells sweet), and plants are growing right up to the water, so hopefully it is not polluted. All is all a very sweet photo!!!

Quite a place there, with the stream pouring out, gives it that real, busy kind of look. I rememeber a sugar plant in southern California a long time ago, an some of those smells weren't so great either. You must have better sugar!!

do not be disappointed when they say no.companies are really uneasy about anyone taking pictures. afraid of litigation I suppose. I asked a place if I could take pictures of their rock piles and they said no. excellent composition and so many facets of your capture to be enjoyed

I like the light on the clouds, and the shadow of the bridge on the water. Those are my favorite two things about this shot. Well, and the bridge, too. LOL! I guess I just like the whole thing!
