hi all, glad you liked my last image.i've enjoyed your comments immensely. i'm having a blast writing the stories.thanx bunches. tonights piece is one i've had laying around for a few years. 1 of my many hobbies is collectible trading cards. a big part of my collection is from NBA basketball players. the coolest part of collecting these is ocassionally you can get a piece of a players clothing actually worn during a game or event. these cards aren't quite as rare anymore as they were a few years ago but let me tell you to get 1 out of a pack of 10 cards is like getting a favored toy at christmas. one of my all time favorite players is allen iverson who played with the philedelphia 76ers (he now plays for the denver nuggets). after watching a playoff series where he played with injuries that could have come from a train wreck i was inspired to make a tribute to him.plain and simple the guy has the heart of a lion.they didn't win the championship that year but he made himself one of the greatest players ever in my opinion. i'm espcially proud of this image because i was able to make it glow in the dark even after all the time it's been stored away.oh yeah in case you're wondering i do have a couple of his real jersey cards stashed away :) annyyyhooo i hope you enjoy my little blast from the past. take care, until the dragon flies again, *hugs and regards* lee - trade secrets : acrylic over posterboard,tissue paper,an allen iverson photo, colored pencil,marker and a super top secret formula for glow in the dark effects (mwahaaaa !)
