Born 1941. Yeah, I know, that's old. Live in Rome. Was raised in Buenos Aires, and still feel that as home. Work as a consultant in GIS (Geographical Information Systems). My hobby, or maybe my real profession, is South American history. My wife is a very well known (in her specialized world ) Roman archeologist. Our son is 30 years old, but hasn't decided to grow up yet. Deals in politics. We travel, at least an important travel each year.

Wonderful detailed craftsmanship in this closeup and to think just how old this is and how well preserved... a testament to a great era in history!

Oh so fascinating! I am not as good as I'd like to be at understanding these things but is there also cheeses, breads and fruits? The detail they created here with their picture story is amazing. The colors, still so vivid after time. The upper panel is crafted with magnificent realism including the cut of the throat and the removed limbs. How exciting to see this. You really took a great photo here that lets me look into the window of history.
