Description
Broager Church has served to nourish the souls of locals for over 800 years. It began as a small romanesque-style building which was renovated many times over the following centuries. A unique feature of Broager Kirke is its double spires. When the tower was built in the 14th century it was impossible to span the tower with a single spire. So, two towers were erected instead. They were however too weak to hold the bell, that's why a wooden tower was built 1650.
