Call me, Ishmael.......
I had this in mind a few years ago, but never did it. Drew the tattoos freehand (Drew half, then flipped a copy). Faveral's Licorne ship. Put a white 2d square behind the figure at about 95% transparency and diffuse at 18. Washes out the background and makes the figure stand out more.

For the literary challenged, "Call me Ishmael" is the opening line in Herman Melville's Moby Dick. Queegueg was the mysterious harpooner. That's a book. You know, those old dusty non-digital things made with paper pages, between two bound covers?

remember- it is not wise to pick a fight with a Maori. Class image, th 2d plane works very well. I had a book once but I think it had run out of batteries.
