Description

Just browsing old discs and filling time. This picture was taken 2004. As a child we would travel to Ingleton where my grandmother lived, close by is a four mile "waterfall walk" which starts at Ingleton following the River Twiss and later returning back along the River Doe. There are many Falls along the route all have been given a name. Thornton Force pictured here is the largest. this is me attempting to climb onto the rock, my brother looks on. I'd only just met Sylvia at this time and I was showing off, I thought I was 15 again not 50. she takes the credit for this shot. The rock is far taller than what it looks and it took every ounce of strength for me to pull myself up. I don't try to impress her as much now, lol. brings back nice memories.
