Corral de Comedias Almagro (Ciudad Real)
El Corral de Comedias de Almagro es conocido en todo el mundo por ser el Ã�ºnico que permanece activo tal y como era hace casi cuatrocientos aÃ�±os. EstÃ�¡ situado en la Plaza Mayor de Almagro y debe su construcciÃ�³n a Leonardo de Oviedo, presbÃ�Âtero de la Iglesia de San BartolomÃ�© el Viejo de Almagro. En 1628, don Leonardo de Oviedo pidiÃ�³ permiso al Ayuntamiento para la edificaciÃ�³n del corral en el patio del mesÃ�³n del toro. InvirtiÃ�³ en la construcciÃ�³n mÃ�¡s de cinco mil ducados, una autÃ�©ntica fortuna de la Ã�©poca. En su origen el corral de comedias ocupaba una superficie de 622 m, algo mÃ�¡s del doble de lo que se conserva en la actualidad.
Corral de Comedias Almagro (Ciudad Real)
The Corral de Comedias de Almagro is known throughout the world as the only remaining active as it was for almost four years. Located in the Plaza Mayor de Almagro and owes its construction to Leonardo de Oviedo, priest of St. Bartholomew's Church in Old Almagro. In 1628, Don Leonardo Oviedo requested permission to City Hall for the building of poultry in the courtyard of the inn's bull. Invested in construction over five thousand ducats, a veritable fortune of the time. In the beginning the pen comedies occupied an area of 622 m, slightly more than double what it is kept at present.
