Description

Thank you for your many comments on my Harry's residence posting. To be honest with you... I doubted whether I should post that picture or not and when I posted it and saw no one looked at it I was convinced it was a failure.. Today I will post a photograph which I took three years ago nearby an island called Terschelling. It is not far from the place where I took the mudflat picture. Anyway in order to make this particular photograph look better I resized it, but the result was a lot of digital noise spoiling the picture. To hide the noise I used a Photoshop filter and the noise then became a part of the painting like effect of the present picture.. well.. I hope it has. I also changed the contrast of the light beam slightly... thumb_1573634.jpgHarry's residence

Very much like a painting! I love the way the light illuminates the yacht.

Yup, that spotlight is just enough to pop out that one ship from the rest and make the water glisten. A really good shot with a good nautical mood to it.

Moody and does work to get across the feeling of the sailing, the noise is not a problem

To me it does look like artwork and I love the way the sea glistens and shines so much, and the fact that one of the boats is highlighted within a spotlight. All in all I think you have come up trumps with this one, excellent postwork - hugs Jane xx
