I picked up Poser to help me with starting an illustration career (after many years working as a graphic artist and even more as a traditional figure artist) and got totally sidetracked into the crazy world of 3D.
I discovered that good artists here fall into two groups, the content creators and the artists/illustrators who use the content to serve their vision. I thought I would be one of the latter but I seem to be more interested in deconstructing the content and figuring how it was created so I guess I'm veering into the former, and a whole new world (and hopefully career!).
Right now I'm really still learning the tools and how to use the content (posing, lighting, shaders (!!!) etc) so my images are very simple and I'm not sure anyone would be interested but I thought I might as well take some small steps into this big, scary world...
I would very much appreciate any constructive comments anyone would have to make!

I really like the vibrant colors of the bird against the almost drab "dead" colors of the building and even the girl.

Lovely image. The bird you actually used is the Wompoo Fruit Dove, an Australian bird, and this was in the Gamebird package of the SBRM (DAZ) by Empken. However this is a good image with the elements you have used, and I like the way you have the girl looking at the bird. Jan
