Description
The picture I posted yesterday and this one are of the huge waves we are experiencing due to a storm that is supposed to slam us some time today, which came down from Alaska or the Pacific North West. Not sure which. These are some of the biggest waves on record for San Diego Beaches. This was taken by me on December 5, 2007 between 3 and 4 p.m.

We got it up here the first of the week, and yep, it generated monster surf!! Great foto, not something you see every day in San Diego!!

Wow, that is a massive wave! I like the late afternoon lighting on this and the hazy atmosphere of the scene. The gulls don't seem to mind the surf, do they?
