Impressive Richard, and I would not have believed it had you not told me! Then I looked and looked and did notice the tree "self shadows" itself around teh trunk from the leaves above and the tree truch too , yet somehow does not shadow the bushes nor ground around it. This is no way detracts form the beauty and quality of this fine art synthesis, I really like it!!!

Although you insert the tree into this locale, your depiction is so wonderfully composed, as though the tree has reside at this particular place for decades. The formation of bushes is most appealing as it frames the trunk of the stately tree. The greenery highlights the unique reddened leaves delightfully granting one the appreciation for the marvels of nature. The composition is superb.
