Description

This beach scene tells us that there is a forest fed river somewhere. During deluges fallen trees wash down the rivers and into the sea where the tide heaves them up onto the beaches. The creek in the foreground is a low elevation in the shoreline and becomes a natural point of accumulation. Hope you enjoy this view as much as I do.

Great shot! So different from the beaches here in Southern California.

Like so many bones scattered about. A great shot of this beach of deadwood.

This is a great shot and I love the somewhat "alien" attributes of this picture. The desolation, the fragments of wood, scattered like bones, and the water itself all make this a compelling image. Everything in it is familiar...sand...wood...water...but in the context of this picture, it carries a more "alien" vibe that works perfectly.

Greetings, As I look at all the wood, I see the potential of reuse in sculpture and other art forms, including rustic furniture. Have a wonderful weekend and thank you for sharing. egmont
