Description

It's been a while again. Finally tonight I found some time for poser cause I catched a cold and with 39°C couldn't go to work. Obviously I'm not able for Poser too. Certainly I feel too dumb for commenting. Many, many thanks to SaintFox for the X-Mas light!!! I hope you have a good weekend!

Cool lighting job here and great composition. It takes a while to get the hang of Poser, so hang in there. We learn by doing.

As I'm sure you know, it was Caravaggio who pretty much developed chiaroscuro into the technique it has become. And this guy ranks with the likes of Rembrandt. Besides his using the shadows of chiaroscuro for the darkness and light in his paintings, as has never been done that way before, he also used street people as models and often painted them as they were. Well, my dear, you have arrived. Seems you are about to become a female Caravaggio in the 3D world. It's all there, a person of the street (not necessarily a streetwalker) walking the street, the chiaroscuro of shadows so dark they have become black, mixed with the hint of light. There's no stopping you now. While most on the 'R' site are technicians, you have become an artist in the true sense. Congrats. Drew

Cool and unusual idea to let her melt into the shadow. Unusual because people are used to see the full figure here in the galleries. Cool because this tells a complete story. Get well soon! 39°C is a really serious sign for a severe flu!!

Excellent render! I like how you have worked with the lighting so effectively! You reveal just what needs to be revealed! You hide what needs to be hidden! All this, the work of your wonderful lighting skills! 5+ :)
