A really strange sight to see on a beach, its the sort of thing I would think of as Arizonia. certainly a neat pic of natures sculptures.

The truth is, Rozanne, that your Catalonian coast has been invaded overnight from outer space.. ;o) The local sand mites and ants, have been taken over by alien intelligence and toiled all night to construct landing pads for the alien mother ships. As you can deduce the aliens are very, very small, and we might not notice their presence - ever. Still taking the pills for terminal whimsy, but it is not making a whit of difference. Nice to know that your roof could take the high winds. Up here, we might have some snow this weekend. We have had torrential rain, freezing high winds, blinding sunshine and hailstones already. Regards, John.

Ths reminds me of Monument Valley in Utah but on a tiny scale. I've lived near the beach most of my life never seen the wind do this. It must have been Very strong! Great shot!

Very well seen and captured, it looks like a mini Brice Canyon, but also in Europe (e.g. Switzerland) you can find this phenomenon in maxi: a huge stone with underneath eroded material!! This mini is so funny, I like this very much, Thanks for sharing have a very nice evening Henk
