Greetings and welcome to my gallery... take a look around and let me know what you think of the tour of my mind! Many people have asked me what that symbol thing I'm holding. It's my initials "J and D" in script. If you look close, the J is the left triangle, and the D is pretty self explainitory. It's my brand and I put it on all my art work, either incorperated into the picture itself or just as a signature.
BIO
I have been an artist for as long as I can remember. I started at a very young age of 4 when I sat at the kitchen table and drew a picture of Snoopy laying on top of his doghouse. That was the beginning of my art career. Since then I have experimented with all forms of media. Pen&Ink, Water Colors, Oils, Pencil, Charcoal, you name it. The biggest problem I had was overcoming my color blindness. It wasn't until I got my first computer that it was possible for me to generate full color images that really looked good. Since then I have delved into just about every kind of computer art I could. I hope you enjoy this journey through my mind and let me know what you think.

That's great! I really love how it has that book cover feel to it.

I agree. Nice work. I think I know the image that inspired this - "Assignment in Eternity", Robert Heinlein, New English Library, 1977. My copy doesn't credit the cover artist but I think perhaps Tim White?

Thank you... Heinlein was a great inspiration to me as well as Asimov and Bradbury... I have a couple of new ideas in mind and want to revamp this if I can in Vue... it's gotten kind distorted in various compressions. I actually did an oil painting of this before I started doing any computer artwork and it was my first transport to the computer world.
