Description

This clump of pampas grass is growing in one of my neighbor's yards. (Don't I have great neighbors? I love all their cool stuff.) I was standing on the sidewalk, and took this hand-held with a bit of zoom. Anybody could have seen me, and I wasn't crawling around in their rose bushes to get the shot (although I HAVE crawled around in their rose garden in the past!) Sneak Factor: MEDIUM-LOW (I'm rating it "Medium" Low because they didn't know I was using the zoom.) LOL!

Very nice, Tara, and you caught it in full bloom, too. I really like pampas grass, as long as it's in someone else's yard LOL.

These grasses are beautiful and as you know, poetic in the breeze. I have a mammoth one in a corner of my yard and it is so beautiful in the summer when it blooms.

LOL. I thought of you the other day when I wanted to climb over a locked gate to take a photo of a door... alas, I didn't do it but tried shooting over and through. I love the pampas grass, great shot!

Oooh oooh oooh, pampas grass! My favorite grass of all time! Excellent POV, clarity, colors, composition and contrast in this superb sneak capture, my dear! Aren't these the type fronds that slaves use to wave and cool off middle eastern royalty as they sit on their thrones?
