I am a keen animal lover so most of my art does include animals. I was always to be found sketching or painting animals from a very young age, and so after work then marriage, and raising 3 children, then breeding and showing dogs in the UK and Europe plus my animal photography, I got back into art again but this time digitally.
Digital art for me began with photography, my son Steve Pinchbeck (predatron) loved it and introduced me to Renderosity, and in fact joined me16years ago (now2020). Gradually I moved into mixed medium, and photo-manipulation and eventually digital fine-art. I use Adobe PS CS4 extended, and hand paint using Wacom Intuos Pro tablet & pen.
I love realistic art and strive to achieve this when painting, because of this I use photos of animals when I paint, for reference. Many of my own photos are of cats and especially of dogs. I often visited zoos too for the wild animal photography, but also have a few cat and dog breeder friends who allow me to photograph their treasured animals. Many thanks to some friends also who are amazing photographers who allow me to use their wonderful photos of wild animals for reference.
My art features in many household items and also artworks in my Redbubble store. https://www.redbubble.com/people/JaneEden/shop?asc=u
I do love it here and have made friends with some wonderful people and amazing artists.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my gallery or my Renderosity store, I do so appreciate it.
I would like to thank everyone who has purchased products from me, I hope you are enjoying creating some wonderful art with them.
Best of wishes to everyone ! :D xx

Very sweet Jane. You asked abour our opinion, and I have to give you mine. If I were you I would take a little bigger piece of the dog. maybe just faint, but a hint of the ears or little more fur. Here I find that the forehead seems a little too small, not high enough. I like the image very much though, I often use the same technique and isolate just the face. Though I sometimes tone it out to the edges. Just my opinion.

Yes, the eyes have it, and it shows the love and adoration in that face. Perhaps a touch more fading out away from the face, as "Garlor" said, but you have accentuated the expression on her face, as intended, and it works well.

Excellent lighting and textures in this composition, my dear. A most unique concept of a wall dish/plate, Miss Jane! And, a fitting tribute to the magnanimous Italian mommy doggie, indeed.

Mia has such a lovely little face. I love this, but would like to see "more" of her little face filling the oval and maybe a just a bit outside the oval. This is superb work and I really like what you achieved here. Bunny

I was going to say the cameo in white really does accentuate her amazing eyes and cute nose, though it seems the top of her head is a little lost in the whiteness. What a precious dog and such a good mama. CC

SO SWEET! Very beautiful. I love the fact that this turned out to be a Cameo, it really sets off the sweet expression in her face, which is reflective of the sweet nature on the inside! Very beautiful, thank you for sharing :D

Jane, I have to agree with Garlor, who said there's "not enough of her head is showing to give a feeling of depth". I'd like to see more of Mia in this, and less of the white outer part. Otherwise, it's a sweet pic! !

Well done, very nice attention on the eyes, Steve x
