The day,
One strange hemisphere,
Where width,
Breadth,
Girth,
Circumference,
Become only
Sinuous threads
Lines,
Once shapely,
Arc, convex;
Cylinders
And I sink
Eliptical
Thoughts
Tetrahedral,
Serpentine,
Rolling adjacent
And curling,
They spin out of control,
Resembling something
Nonsensically
Unconcentric
Even orbs,
Self-protective,
Torque reticulate;
Things once lit
Now banded,
And obscured
A vertical horizon,
Laid bare,
Where
Skeletal glimpses
Of the self
Come,
In stark,
Hellical contours
Nothing
Is streamlined today;
Vision obscured
By water-filled lids,
Being protruding,
Pushing carelessly
From within
I slip
A little
Deeper yet...
And contemplate the still
