Description

This was my white dendrobium orchid I bought a few years ago at the Orchid Show in Louisville Ky..I saw those Orchids and had to have one..I wanted a purple one but it was almost $50..the one I settled on this one was $25 but so so pretty and it was freezing outside and I thought I will bring a bloom to me if I can't grow them outside..It lived almost 3 yrs and I had wonderful luck with it blooming but sadly it died...A few weeks ago I bought 2 for $10 at e-bay..these are a creamy yellow with a green throat...forgot what they are called...I would grow orchids all year round if I could afford them LOL.... As for me I was really sick last week...My Dr got called away to a convention when I was supposed to get my Morphine refilled...Mon I was in such severe pain I went to E.R and they gave me a 100mg of Demerol and somehow or other I had a reaction to it..My jaw locked and hubby thought I was having seizures...I couldn't shut it and was making weird guttural noises and I thought that's it I am getting ready to die...but finally got home that night was 5am ...it was no fun let me tell me...I finally saw my Dr got my meds back and now am doing much better...I never want to go through feeling that way again... Did my usual post work on this image with PSP 9 Added border and that's it.. Any and all comments are appreciated... Sorry you had such a bad time!!! Orchids are one of my favorite flowers. I even learned how to ferlize them and get them to make 10,000 more from each seed pod. Not hard to do , they do all the work. Thanks for the picture. Lightpen

This is a beautiful picture of your orchid. I've never tried growing orchids because I definitely don't have a green thumb. I'm glad you are feeling better after such a miserable week last week.

so beautiful Susan.too bad about your suffering last week, but as you said you are feeling better now.I am in amazement of your strength.for some reason an orchid I have finally has many blooms after several years of nothing.not near as beautiful as yours
