Description
Taken at the San Antonio Raceway. Midnight Madness is 1/4 mile drag legal street racing. I was able to shoot track side at the event. This was my first time shooting any type of racing. Thanks for looking.

Viper, this is an image making me recall some many, many years ago. I really like the photo and the detail you caught. The memories? Let's say some kid with an old Dodge 426 hemi was on a country road and ran down it beside another kid in an Olds 442. Well...memories.

I shot races at Austin and Texas world speedway all in the same weekend and some low life character took 7 of 10 rolls of film at the developer.I shot a lot out south of SA on I think highway16 at the race track outstanding night capture

Well I can smell the rubber & hear the screech of the tires from here in the UK. A really atmospheric shot. Gotta love the contast on the 70-200L (guessing!)
