This bird thought he'd avoid having his picture taken ...... au contraire, mon frère! (Anyone remember that phrase from an old hippie comedian?)
This was taken from the patio of a restaurant called Fishy, Fishy. Mr. Gull looked so content perched up there, I just had to try sneaking up on him. I was hoping he'd stay still long enough for me to get his portrait, but noooo ... he had to be on his way. Of course, he wasn't quite as quick as my shutter finger...

thousands of these feathery rodents stay around Dallas and use the large parking lots as perches. excellent quick action on your trigger finger
