Toffet Delgado laughed as he broke out of his father's bear-hug,"DAD! Dad, god! I just came back from the dead, don't kill me again! " Sir Tavi Delgado, Knight of the Mystic Order, was delighted to hear his once dead son joking around. He wiped his eyes on the back of his glove and smiled. His smile faded a bit as the rabbit-derived Beastgirl,Kella, flowed up against Toffet. Sir Tavi said gravely,"Son, you can't cavort with Beast-girls like this. It's not legal OR dignified." Toffet said, "I died with her. We've been in paradise together for maybe months. I love her. I want to marry her." Kella said with a grin,"I was 'Born to Serve Man Until DEATH!' " She giggled and choked out,"Alrighty--I did that crap and it sucked and I DIED and came back! I'm free NOW! Neener-neener!" She and Toffet laughed with the intimate chuckling of lover in the deep throws of passionate love. Sir Tavi knew the look. He was astounded by the depth of it from his son. Toffet had been so reserved and held back from love until Sir Tavi had feared his son's heart was frozen. Sir Tavi said,"You know--there IS a BIG Cyclops robot out there. Should you be more quiet?" Kella looked over at Thistledown in the corridor outside the ice-rimed morgue and smiled at him and waved. He gave a hesitant wave back as she said,"Naw. He's harmless. MOSTLY harmless. Bluebell told us all about her Dad. She sounded human as she recounted how her parents embarrassed her on occasion with their carrying ons!" Toffet laughed, "Toxic's reactions were priceless!" Sir Tavi cut through their laughter, "HOW? How could you know these things?" Toffet rolled his eyes and started awkwardly,"Errrrr, it's hard to say,Dad. First--we were dead. Naked and all...dead." Kella broke in,"Baby, let me take this. Sir Tavi--our minds or spirits were held somewhere separate from our bodies. It WAS like a paradise, but from FOUR million years ago! NO modern animals, or genetically engineered replacement species, only the species that lived then were there. Less than a day there passed, but freed of our bodies, it was as if it were MONTHS!" Toffet said, "We met Toxic's mom! Her name was ChalCheelok?" Kella slapped him on the rump and giggled,"You cam tawk ripe! Goofball! It was Chal-chi-la-loc! You need to practice your tongue movements some more!" They both chortled as he patted her fanny. Sir Tavi huffed, "Toffet...you two WILL get into trouble like that. Anyway...do you know we were attacked by aliens?" Toffet nodded. "Actually, yes. We caught some of it while we were dead. Perception of the real world was chaotic at best. Toxic's mom could only talk with her, not us. Toxic isn't a good translator." Kella started laughing,"Poor thing! She just doesn't look at the world like the rest of us. Her resurrection was really rough. If she hadn't interceded for us...we'd be dead for good. She didn't want anyone else to die with her! She's recovering right now. " Kella looked up at Toffet and said,"Love? I like your 'funeral clothes'! Mmmm,leather pants!" Toffet rolled his eyes and said to his father,"Dad, tell mom...if I ever croak off again, have the clothes cremated separate from ME! Gawd!" They all laughed at that. Sir Tavi choked out, "I hope that won't be for many years. Even if I don't get an heir from your....relationship!" Kella laughed,"Heh! We'll adopt! Don't worry about it."
