Those cookies and a hot drink of tea (or coffee) would do for me. I'm suspicious of the milk given your title and even if fresh the taste buds say tackle it first. Sweet cookies can ruin the more delicate aspirations. I agree, it seems to be a photograph but very well conceived as a still life. The arrangement is fine, and the white of the milk is allowed to dominate
