Description
many weeks of tinkering, and not getting the results i expected/wanted, i went back to basics and started again... all settings are my own, and these will probably become the basis for some more images, as I was quite pleased with the result, quite a simple set up using the old inverted crater trick, a strata and outcrops shader with some power fractal inputs and a few other surface shaders... this one took quite some time to render, even for the size and quality settings, but still worth the wait imho!!!.... feel free to comment or critique as these are always welcome and appreciated!

I feel your pain. I have one rendering now for 41 hours + and don't expect it to be completed before this coming Saturday. You've done well with this so far; and, using it as a basis for other POVs looks promising.
