well first off i must thank david (fred255) for nominating me for last week in the gallery ,i honestly did`nt know what lwitg meant until someone congratulated me last night and gave me a link to it lol :o)..anyways thank you david i am honored .
this shot was taken back in august this year at flamingoland by june my wife .my shadow of course is ashleigh who sticks to me like glue at every opportunity ,i would`nt care but my other 2 grandkids, her brother and sister are treated no differently and yet they never wanted my attention like ashleigh does .i`m not complaining though as its great to feel wanted .if she was given the choice she would live with me and her nanna everytime and creates when she has to go home to her mum and dad lol .funny thing is she fights with her nanna like they were sisters and then i get caught in the middle between wife and grandaughter having to choose carefully whose side i`m on lol :o)..

Well tell June she takes a pretty good photo, you can certainly tell Ashleigh loves her Grandad. Took on a nice sunny day as well. Excellent shot, and congrats on your lwitg shot as well. Bravo!!!!!

Mick, she is one amazing child. You can see it in her face. I'd be proud to call her grand daughter as well. I think I see hollyhocks behind you - one of my favorite old fashion flowers. An added bonus in this shot. I also want to mention you must be the best grandpa in the universe. Your "laugh lines" are deep and plentiful so your humor, ease and caring must be enormous.
