Description

She said she had always wanted to go to Paris, but it was only a silly dream. A few days later, when he took her down to the basement, she didn't know what to expect.... *** The original idea was a 3 image story, but it made no sense to me and vanished. This isn't much better. The idea here is that he painted a scene of Paris on the wall. I added the pallet and brushes afterwards trying to make it clearer. The light was supposed to look like it's magically coming from the painted scene. I'll end it here and just say they lived happily ever after.

I got it :) I think it works better as a stand-alone image than trying to continue from the previous.

The only confusion I can think of is that the scene might be taken to be one of those magical windows that you're so well known for - but it works either way. The test is to show it to someone who hasn't seen the text and see what they make of it.

If more of the wall texture showed through the painting it would be clearer; but great concept and beautifully depicted.

I think the palette was an excellent idea to tie this together. It let me scan the image to figure out what was going on before ever reading the text. Nice job!
