This is my paraphrasal of gevidal's response to my questions:

"After rendering the clouds, I use Photoshop for post-processing. I use the smudge tool and irregular brush to lighten and darken the clouds. I follow the light and shade of the sky, and use this to give form to the clouds."

This work is so ethereal. I wonder what happened between 2009 and 2011, when your work became so very dark? I wish I could have been here to support you in some way. I’m so sorry I wasn’t here.
