Your lighting is absolutely amazing... it has that diffused kind of glow. Beautiful work! I didn't know that Le Corbusier's arm chair came in a sofa version... :o) in brown leather as well. The front end of the seat cushions might work better if they were aligned (or overhang) the bottom pad of the couch. I think that the surfacing is fine, perhaps a bit on the big side (say 40% less?), but the bump map is perfect! Any postwork done at the windows? I am only nitpicking because I am real fan of your work.

nu-be: i dont want 2 many things in the pic, ...thats why the title is-zeitlos- (timeless) you dont know if some1 is livin there right now or not moebius87: thanx, maybe you right..the cushions would look more "real" if they overhang, 40% is 2 much i guess..but next time i will reduce a bit. the place arround the window dont look as good as i would like..actually is the 1 of the things i would change....and try next time :-) thanx, the lightning is the most important thing for me...

Wow, the fireplace is great! And how do you make the diffusion in the lights reflection(the glow on the radiosity)? Great work :)

Now this one is truly one of the best renderings I have ever seen!

robinoberg: i dont used radiosity, i`ve tested, it looks better..or "different", but 2 long rendertime, the image filter bloom , is very good in my mind.. :-)

Yeah, the 'warm' painting stands out in the 'cool' room. Yah know what I mean? And incase no ones told you, the lighting is beautiful! Nice job all around.

Good work, you might want to scale the texture down for the leather.

I agree with wgreenlee1 on the texture of the leather. Very good lighting. Just a little too empty if there is someone living in, and too clean and tidy if there is no one living in..... Overall a beautiful render.

A very good image - however the only thing I would have to point a finger at is the shadows of the items on the mantlepiece. The shadows are leveled with the object - while I would expect the shadows to either 1) fall down a little or 2) be so diffuse that it would be hard to notice them. The shadows also seem a little too "hard"... hope it helps.. - keep up the good work!!!!

dzogchen: ..i was trying 2 make a pic with a smoh, quiet atmosphere..in my mind you dont need a room full of "things" 2 achieve this goal sharp: i understand what you mean, ..well i was thinkin about it already, and you are right ! ...thanx ! for all comments

cool render, how made the specular bloom (diffuse glow)? in LW or photoshop?

very very nice...one comment tho, I'd use more orangish lighting to really give off an interior glow, and I'd tone down the leather bump to only around the edges of the cusions...you have a great talent for lighting/modeling/composition though, excellent work!
