Casshern was once a reveared god of peace, born of lightning. He was worshipped with great devotion and thus he granted the most devoted with his gifts, to prtect their peace. One man, very tall and wore an exotic armor shrouded by his robes, who said he was from the Great Blackness, named Ku'Lex, arrived in the peaceful village claiming to see the gods, more so, claiming to kill them. The village became, at first frightened, then eager when this traveler professed that gods are nothing more than mortals that have gained power. A power that one could use, destroy or better yet... steal. Belief and trust in Casshern faulter and so, in time his gifts began to dissapear, he abandond his people for they had abandoned him. "Now that you god has failed you, I must show you this god's mortality!" Ku'Lex roared as he lifted a heavely armored arm to the sky. As his eyes turned black as the void, so did the sky, flowing thick like black blood. Ku'Lex errupted with yet another roar of deafining tone, and the sky split open as a single bolt of lighting crashed from the sky. "Casshern...," whispered the now obviously volotile man. There stood the great god of peace. Transformed into something terrible and evil. "..kill...them... all." With those last words from the Master of Oblivian, Ku'Lex Nemisis, Casshern followed his orders well.
