Description

We have sunshine in Bay, woo hoo!!!! The light is so welcome :-))) A shot in whitby harbour, I see the harbour when I go shopping in the nearest town to my Bay. David and I long for a little boat, one day, maybe. We would have to learn seamanship before ever buying a boat. The sea should be respected at all times. My father, a Navy man all his life taught me this. I have great respect for the sea and her many moods. I thank you all for looking and for treasured comments. Have a beautiful day all. Happy Hugs. Diane.

He thought you right.... It doesn't matter how big a ship you have, the ocean has a louder Roar... I have a feeling that you both will get a boat. Excellent shot. Aloha

Stop it! Posting these shot's just makes me want to leave work jump in the car and drive the six or so hours up there. It feels like my second home and I'm home sick!

Wonderfully captured, Diane! I hope you get that boat someday as you seem to love this place you live so much! I agree with Errol, your father taught you well, and I know you would do well out on the water.

Greetings Diane, There is an old saying that we dream of having a boat and when we do, we cannot wait to get rid of it. When i was a teenager I wanted to sail around the world, but it never happened. Sometimes I still would not mind a boat to sail along a coast line. Your right one should never take the sea for granted. Thank you for sharing. egmont

What a pleasure to see that joyful harbour, when the weather is miserably wet and cold... That is a wonderful image! Have a very nice and peaceful evening, Di!

Yes nice and safe in the harbour, lovely flat calm and wonderful reflections, I'm so glad you've had some sun, we have also had a few sunbeams dotted about. Beautiful scene Diane, expertly captured, like Richard says, you have to embrace your dreams to realise them. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!

I think when you live by the water you dream of having a boat and sailing way. We dream of our boat too as we drive along the water. But dreams are good to have even if you know that's all they are. I like the dreamweaver. A great capture of a perfect sunny day on the bay. Chocolate hugs Di:0)bonita
