"You can never have TOO much color." ~ Theo
Back to the Morikami Japanese gardens and my converted IR camera. As with previous photos, I swapped the Red and Blue color channels in Photoshop to get a blue sky. But there are no hard and fast rules about color in IR. We can pretty much express things however we like. So I pushed the saturation and played with the color values a bit. I wanted to see how extreme I could get without getting too overt. Like my Gedi Prime or Risa? photo, there was more color information than usual available for me to work with. The purplish accents are actually the information from the green color range, made violet using the Hue/Saturation controls. The rest of the colors were kept the same, just enhanced. I left the image rather large so that you could "explore" it if you so desire, but in the interest of time, clicked the "resize" option when uploading it. Thanks for all your FAVES that placed this image at 28th in the Art Charts! -----
Thanks for your ripped-up comments on my previous upload,
