Description

This image was for a friend of mine who goes by the handle Darkmagi. This is a simulation of his personal Imperial Guard Unit, the 3rd Harbadian Rifles. This unit is patterned after the Praetorian Guard units of the Warhammer 40,000 Imperial Guard Regiments. The Praetorian Guard units' look is patterned off Colonial-Era British soldiers, and this is reflected not only in the tunic, but the distinctive Pith-style helmets. This is the second in my series of Imperial Guard Posters.

I've said it already but I love this pic, you've really captured the character of my regiment, the regimental crest is fantastic and the trooper is a recruitment officers dream !

Onimusha - You can find an outstanding collection of 40K items here http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=71816&start=0 I also suggest checking out the whole thread not just for great updates on what is currently being worked on, but also for the latest items. As items are released a link is posted for the item and the Thread Starter will update the front page with the new item as he can. It can take time though before it shows up there, so simply keeping up with the conversations and posts will usually net you the latest item on the day of release.

This style guard will make the enemy think 'are we in a time-warp', which will give the Harbadian/Habardian (?) Rifles time to get the first shot ! Well done & ~Cheers~
