Description

The holiday season is my busiest time of year work-wise, doesn't leave me much time for anything else really. I really wanted to finish the textures for the R.A.T.T.T and do a small scene showing it in action. Managed to get this done amongst all the year end madness. This will probably be my last post of the year though as I simply will not have time until January. A big thanks to everyone for all their support on this project, especially Chris Ryan (a.k.a HorseFlesh) for tips and pointers...the extra wheels are for you Chris and were definately needed, as well as Jordan Holmes for his constant support and suggestions throughout this project. All textures were done in CS2 and applied in C4D.Once rendered, the image was once again put through photoshop for quite a bit of postwork. The motion blur was done in CS2 as was dust. I cheated slightly so that the cab and front are in crisp focus whilst the tracks and rear of the vehicle have been blurred. I wanted an image of a vehicle being worked hard over rough terrain, dragging a dust cloud behind it...I think I'm happy. Thanks for looking!!

You've done a masterful job on putting your incredble model into this scene. The atmosphere, mats, lighting and 'dust' turned out wonderfully, Max! Have a wonderful Holiday Season my friend!

Search And Destroy!!!! Congrats on the final render dude, I think this was your longest and most ambitious project (3D wise) yet. Awesome job on the scenery not to mention the insane modelling. This one, im sure, will definately stand out in your gallery for a while still. The only problem is; Now you have to top this one.. 5star and def a fav!! ;-)
