Description
I suffer with arthritus(don't know if the spelling is right), due to this and somewhat to Diabetes, I have something like segs across the palm of both hands and my fingers are curling inwards. The doctor did give me a name for it but I can't remember what it is. They won't operate on it until it gets so that I can't use them. First thing in a morning I cannot manipulate my fingers due to cold and stiffness, so I have to wear my fingerless gloves to try and get the circulation going. It was a comment on another image that gave me the idea for this shot. You have to have some fun, some time, and this is just for fun. The blur is because I was typing whilst taking the shot.
I hope it gives some of you a smile, to imagine me sat here typing away wearing gloves.
Thanks for stopping by for a look see, especially for those that care to comment.
May the sunshine down on you, where ever you are.
Smile please, you are not on candid camera but smile anyhow, it's good for the soul. #;0)

I am smiling Jeff!! You know you can get little pouches which you hold in the hand and they immediately warm up, no power needed. You have a beautiful attitude to life considering all the pain and distress you suffer. You spread so much happiness and sunshine on this site. On my dark days.. I am so glad of you popping about. I read many of your comments on other people's work and they brighten me up! Now to your shot, dear friend. It is superb and I love the motion blurr. Have a beautiful day, thank you for being you and with us all here at rendo. The place would not be the same without you and your wonderful strong spirit. Susnshine huggies, you take care of you. Diane. xx

I use those palm warmers sometimes but I'd be in the poor house if I bought them and used them every time I needed to loosen my fingers. I like your idea. Maybe I'd pop them in the microwave for 30 seconds and then put them on. I know I stick all sorts of clothing in my microwave on cold mornings to warm them up before slipping them on (undergundies are the best in the mornings when they are toasty...LOL) This is a very nifty shot and I like the motion brought out.

When I was a kid, I was often told that when I got older, I could do all the things I wanted to do but was not allowed to do or physical capable of doing. So I got older and guess what, I have found out that now I can't do all the things I did as a child because my body is no longer up to it. Now that just seems unfair, lol. I admire your spirit and constant good will. It shows a strength of character that we all can respect. BTW - I am also impressed that you seem to be using all ten digits to type with. I can barely get 3 or 4 of mine to work together at a keyboard, lol. Nice concept. Thanks for sharing. Lee

My grandfather told me that he never had cold fingers in those gloves, later I understood what he has said. There are no fingers in those gloves; you can’t get cold fingers in it. I am sorry my friend. I wish you a 2008 without much pain; I know also that it is not possible to be totally free from it. I hope you are get a warm 2008, which help, at least it help me. Give me a temperature with 30 degrees Celsius, it is like heaven then. Tank you for the info and it’s really a marvelous capture.
Liam.
Okay, I'm smiling. Hang in there, Jeff!

I'm smiling Jeff, you are an inspiration to us all. I have been out on photo trips with you and know how much you suffer trying to get around without complaint. Also the amount of medication for a list of different medical conditions with unpronouncable names. I would take my hat off to you if I ever wore one. nice bit of fun Jeff, its what makes the world go round.

I got arthritus in the kness. I take something you buy . I do not have the name here at the coffee shop but when I get home I look it up. I know one brand is Joint Fuel. It will take one or two bottles of taken it to see any action it taken but it do work. The pain in my kness is not too bad and just hurt when the weather changes big time. cool shot this is

I agree with the lovely Diane. as I have told others that there are people that are members here that can not type at all and use the voice function to type.they fight with a mouse to create art and to be part of the community.I have heard numerous people mentioning why do they not comment all the time, why do they copy and paste comments.well, I appreciate every single one and if they need to copy and paste it is fine with me. many people view and never say anything, then others fight pain in order to comment and post art.I appreciate you Jeff and at one time while I was still working, I was in pain a lot.luckily for me retiring has enabled me to be pain free except for getting old pains-haha excellent capture friend

I am imagining that when you took this shot, you were leaving a nice comment for someone. Maybe even for me! :) Your presence here warms my heart, my friend. I love your creativity and your talent, and your PMA! :)

You don't sound like you have it too good it a shame you have to wait until they don't work before they do anything. At least taking photo's and using the pc is giving your fingers some fun exercise lol, i also suffer with arthritis so i know what your going through with this horrible cold weather were having.
