You are a fantastic artist but I prefer your color images to these "inks". Sorry just my opinion.

I like how the suit details are obscured in black then revealed in such a short gradation to white- its an interesting effect, and I could see this as a very effective step in the process of digital coloring. It is very cool to see the progression, and I hope that you can show us what lies ahead!

Nice work Tony! I've messed around with this technique before, but my results were never this good!

I'd say this second test was a great success as well. You really do capture that black and white comic feel with image as well.

Thanks guys, though the style is still in the early stages these where just test runs. I plan on going further with this when time permits, just getting the images to this point is alot of playing around, once I get this down I then plan on Inking them, with the goal of having a clean Image to then paint and such. This may seem to be alot of work, however when you consider how comics are done, this process has some strong points. Rodney thank you for your input I agree I rather do straight up colors any day, however this is a tech Im working on and just wanted feed back from you all, But Ill mix it up and throw some colors in my future postings, Thanks again guys CHEERs.

Looking good I'm think you'll do what I do and thats render the ink separate from the color and over lay it on top on multiple layer just a suggestion not that you need any help your in a class of your own 5+

A lot like Inkscape's trace function. Makes a great filter after a Poser line render. Authentic comic book ink style render
