Prismacolor Marker on 18" x 24" Strathmore Bristol paper. This one was a journey. In a way I'm happy that I'm done with it, but at the same time, I'm sad to let it go. . . but I have to now. It's been with me for about seven months, and was kicking around my mind for about a year. One thing that I do appreciate about the process in making these is that I go through many life events every time I approach the work. So many things happen in life that (I think) are reflected in this imagery whether it be reflected via color, shape, pattern, or rhythm. Now, I kind of view these as a map of emotion over the duration of a given time interval. Some take longer than others, but this one took the longest so far. Thank you for looking, for the comments, the crits in the past regarding these, and for your words. They mean alot for me, and I appreciate your taking time to write. I hope your eyes enjoy these flavors :)
