Description

Hi all. :^) First, my sincere thanks to those of you who took the time to extend your offers of congratulations. You are all soooooo sweet and encouraging, and your support truly makes me feel like my efforts are not in vain. So thank you, from the very, very bottom of my heart... :^) Onto this image...It has been suggested to me that this might be mistaken as something that belongs in the 2D gallery. I want to clarify that this image, although elaborate in presentation, is basically two photos that have been composited. It's pretty much the same thing as the other polaroid-type images I've uploaded here, like 'Taking A Leap', except that was three. The surface the 'book' is lying on, is in reality, no different than having a frame or border around a photo, if you think about it. So simply put, this is a photo that has been warped into looking like it's lying down, and then a second photo added on top of it, to give it even more of a 3D look...if I was successful, that is. ;^) Anyway, I hope you like it. :^) Thanks for dropping by, and any comments you may care to leave. 'Til next time...stay well, y'all! Marlene :^) PS: For any of you that actually read my endless babble, there's a fascinating thread on the internet about pulp fiction, male fantasy, and the interesting effect the women's liberation movement had on this particular genre... I found it most thought-provoking.... http://www.metroactive.com/papers/cruz/02.27.97/lq-pulp-9709.html And...hopefully here's Scarlett, before I 'warped' her, lol... Superb capture! She really is so beautiful. Classy, sophisticated and elegant with the sexy twist. It's like one of those "good girls" gone bad :) I love the steam that seems to be rising from the lower left hand corner. It really enhances the mood and the atmosphere and brings her to life! Wonderful detail, and embroidery on her outfit! You are EXTREMELY talented!

As with all your images, this one shows total creativity. It is long and overdue that the Gommie award goes to you. Congrats Marlene. My fav part of this is seeing the smoke off the cover and onto the BG. Now that shows attention to detail.
