Description

The not so pretty aftermath of the ice storm. Clockwise from the top right... My parent's front yard; My parent's back yard; A few blocks from my house (blurred the license for privacy); My neighbor across the street (just about every tree they had fell and left branches all over) The community has really pulled together. My son's Highschool offered the showers yesterday until 7:00 pm for those who needed them. There are several shelters located in each town for warmth. My parents neighbors had generators and a huge barn and housed 5 families. We stayed at my parents (no electricity, but they had a wood burning stove). So we are all taking care of each other. I'll post some more of the pretty pictures over the next several days...It really was beautiful. Natures deadly decorations. Thanks for looking and any comments or critiques welcomed. Best viewed full size to see each individual picture.
