"Angelina" was produced from a custom heightfield map designed in Paint Shop Pro, translated to a .ter file using the Heightfield Toolkit, and final rendered in Terragen 8.4
THESE IMAGES ARE NOT OVERLAYS PROJECTED ONTO FLAT TERRAIN. THEY ARE 3-DIMENSIONAL, PURE TERRAGEN TERRAINS. NO FILTERS- NO TRICKS- NO TWEAKS.

was the image you used a drawing you made yourself or just a photo....I cant see what benefit you have to gain from feeding a photo/image straight into terragen and then rendering it so that it looks like you applied some crappy filter in photoshop or whatever.... still , fair play to you for experimenting!

Well after going backwards thru the Terragen Gallery I finally got to here...this is a great series exploring what terragen can actully do other than,and please don't take this wrong everyone, pedestrian landscapes. The landscapes are wonderful and are what Terragen weas designed for, but it's always nice to see someone pushing the limits and exploring new stuff...full marks for creativity....keep on innovating.. ...
