Description

I thought about calling this "The Princess Buttercup," but that just wouldn't be right. She was a very nice person. This is an invasive, awful, evil weed, and it's taking over the world, starting with MY garden! LOL! I'm trying to see the beauty in everything, but this is really stretching my limits. This is a shot I took last Spring. I'm doing a little housecleaning while it's Winter and there's not a lot to look at up here.

Such warmth in this glowing light Tara, it is a wonderful shot. My lawn is full of them. I actually let them grow!! I like the meadow look! Hugs. Diane.

Beautiful flower in a lovely macro, but sorry it's taking over your garden.

Oh C'mon now! Could it possibly be that bad? They are so beautiful.. But perhaps I should get myself a garden of my own, and then we'll have this discussion, right? :)

What is it? It looks pretty to me... My garden nemesis is Clover/Shamrock. I don't know where it came from but, it is taking over. Perhaps these two are partners in crime?

Beautiful picture. I had no idea, but I googled butter cup, and got the wikipedia definition. I think you should go now and get RoundUp, spray it, and spray it again and again! Don't worry about the collateral damage, kill it now! Ok a little over the top, fun though, right! Todd

So hard to believe. How can anything so lovely be so evil and predatory, strangling everything in its path? Good lighting and POV in this shot of the "buttercup," or whatever it passes for, in the world of flora.

It may be a weed but it is a beautiful one and your capture makes it into a beautiful flower. I have some of these too but not enough to get mad at yet.

Taking the bitter with the sweet, I guess, with this incredibly detailed composition.
