Description

This is Bear, he owns the canefarm I visit sometimes. When I was walking around the farm taking photos, Bear came down in his tractor, so I got him to pose for me...beer in hand of course! Burdekin is the area where he lives and canefarmers say their sugar is gold, plus Bear drinks XXXX gold beer, so hence the title!

Love the sign on the canopy Sue, 'Rural Fire Brigade' With fields off sugar cane I suppose its a matter of everybody pitching in if one catches fire. Great shot, he looks like a happy go lucky sort of chap, nothing like a cold beer when you've been on the tractor for a while, under the blazing sun. Bravo!!!!!

He looks like a happy man. Something about farmers - they are either very happy and well balanced or broken and grumpy. :-) Nothing inbetween. Great shot with the tractor and fields and birds in the sky.
