I figured I should put sometime up for my bio. Between work and all my other projects/activities, I haven't spent enough time on Renderosity...
Anyway, my background in programming/psychology/ergonomics doesn't provide enough creative expression for me. I had wanted to be a writer (SF/Fantasy) for years (though I realized that I would never be an Orson Scott Card or a Joss Whedon) and love the art here on Renderosity (thought I'm not artistically talented enough to shine in this arena), but finally decided that cartooning (playing with ideas more than words or images) was more my thing. Some of those SF/Fantasy stories I may turn into a comic strip (or graphic novel).

Your friend was incorrect. The first panel is amusing on its own but without the following panels, you wouldn't get that message across.

I prefer the third pict. It could stand alone.. I think that the first panel could be shown alone. All the story is interesting!
