Long ago in, say, a cafe, I overheard from a distance now and then, and from the same group of strangers, the story of a mutual acquaintance of theirsalways named, but never therewho put ketchup in his coffee. Cherry syrup at the bottom of beer? Chocolate with schnitzel? It is far beyond slick when you have the viewer wondering what the image might say without the body of the violin, and a face almost not seen....
