Description

Hi R'R gang! Happy Holidaze! Sorry I haven't been around, but been very busy. This is a bulb shot of the Common Room at the Ritz-Carlton Ski Resort (Bachelor Gulch) near Vail Colorado. I shot this in between a whirlwind assignment there last week yikes! Photography Assignment: Grand Opening of Spago Restaurant with Wolfgang Puck. Location: Ritz-Carlton Resort, Avon, CO I was using both film and digital, with this using my trusty Canon FTbn and Fuji Velvia 50 for a 5.5 second exposure. This was an amazing and grueling 4 day project with party/event and skiing shoots. At 16+ Hours a day, I'm beat :) Yes, I did stay there for 3 days, and learned a lot on this! Kurt, this is an amazing shot. The lighting is hypnotic. The spotlight on the table and glass are marvelous and all around the touches of light here and there to accent the tree and its lights is just a delight.
