Description

Hello! Look at this wonderful tree. Every time I passed the garden, I wanted SO much to go and get a shot of it. I thought about Tara and her sneaking and I desided to do it. But then I saw one of the guys living there and I desided to ask him nicely. That was very good, because he was very friendly and I had a nice conversation with him. Found out, that he had bought honey at my father many times, when my father had bees and now he knows I am the daughter. Found out that he was seing our very old ex neigbours, where only the lady lives now at 95 years old. He asked about my mom. SO actually we almost knew each others. Then came his partner and I had a nice talk with him too. They live in such a cosy place and perhaps I will take some shots of their lovely house in the spring. :) Then I did also meet an old guy I know on his morning walk, guarding 19 vacation houses In the area. Again I had nice a converstaion. Yes it can be very interesting with such a walk :))) Thanks for the visiting and for your very nice comments to yesterdays Holiday post. Have a wonderful sunday. Here the morning is very foggy, so I might walk and take some shots of it.... I just hope it doesnt spoil my new camera?

It is always a pleasure to admire such wonderful trees. They are witness of our story too and what you are saying about is very sympathetic and typical. The fact that you have cropped its foliage renders it even more imposing.

What a beautiful tree, and your photograph is excellent! I love the story, too. I'm glad you got to meet such nice neighbors! What a wonderful experience that must have been. Thanks for sharing this! (And I'm glad you didn't have to end up sneaking around - getting people to show off their treasures is much better!)
