Description

This is actually a picture I took last summer in Prague, on a particularly brilliant day...Prague offers dramatic skies on a regular basis, even when they're gray and cloudy, they're still dramatic. I wonder if it has something to do with being so far inland and not too far from a mountainous region. I suppose I can find out, but on a level, it's best if some questions are left unanswered. I was all alone with my camera on the day that this picture was taken, and I did the postwork on this version of the image in the wee hours of the early morning. There was something satisfying and eerie about watching this image shift and emerge as Photoshop worked its digital magic and birds began to sing somewhere outside, over the sounds of the day-trams beginning their runs, which means it was 5 am or later when this image found completion. Funny how you remember things like that. As always, thank you for viewing, commenting, and enjoying. Hopefully you've all had a great weekend and have a great week ahead of you.

I agree with NekbetSun about your having a way of making me feel like i'm there...you draw me in to whatever you're writing about and I like the way that feels...this is a beautiful image, I love that centered building..., very well done Chip!

Wow - nice work! I really like this. I attach experience to experience, as well. A certain song will remind me not of a lost love or a time in childhood, but a stretch of road, an intersection, where the song first lodged itself in my brain while I was listening and driving. Just random anchors in life, with no particular meaning.

Oh, this is just awesome!! The clarity and the light, and that little red sign, wow!! And I see I'm not the only one who find herself drawn right into your world as you tell us of what you see and how you felt when you were there!! I love that, the fact so many people see and feel your world, and how you see it, great stuff, Chip!!
