Description

G'day All! Hope you are all well & getting into the festive season :) Me, I've been busy at work & lucky to find time for myself lately. Yesterday I went to Featherdale Wildlife Park here in the west of Sydney & captured this Tawny Frogmouth sitting on the tree branch. I actually nearly walked right past it, they blend in so well with the trees. Thank you all for viewing & your comments, I truly do appreciate them... My site is open for viewing so why not drop by & check it out & maybe sign my guestbook before you leave ;) www.freewebs.com/shucodaphotography Take care Shane

Beautiful photo, and the only place we can see those birds here is in the Denver Zoo, behind glass! Sad, that, but at least I did get some beautiful shots of them anyway. This is very nice, though, and at least you don't have to look at them behind glass!

We've got one in our zoo here in Sacramento, California. It is the primary reason I go to the zoo now. I think it is the most interesting and beautiful of all owls. Awesome capture.
